You entered my dark side
you broke me for no reason
you all threw one spear
on my velvet soul
you made my sad sky

you took my air and water

not to feel pain
in small pieces

and I will close my eyes
and I will forgive as always.

Влеговте во мојата темна страна
без причина ме скршивте
фрливте сите по едно копје
врз мојата кадифена душа
тажното небо ми го скроивте
ми го ставивте над глава
ми ги земавте воздухот и водата
ми го заспавте срцето
да не чувствувам болка
на ситни парчиња
безмилосно ме скршивте,
а јас ќе замижам
и ќе простам како секогаш.

Sanja Atanasovska is a Macedonian journalist and poet. She was born on December 21, 1985 in Kumanovo. So far she has published five collections of poetry The Letter of the Ten Fingers, Testament of Life, Garden of Glass, My Saffron, and Aphrodite runs in the windmills. She is also the winner of two literary awards in Macedonia, Lesnovski Zvonа and Karamanov. In 2019 she was at a literary residence in Montenegro. Her songs have been translated into many foreign languages.
