By Tasnima Yasmin

Take that damp cloth and scrub away,

Remove all the dirt and clay,

Put aside what they say,

And hear your inner voice relay.

The mud, the dust, particles miniscule,

Wipe out all that ridicule,

Seek thoughts of wisdom plentiful,

For radiating joy is graceful.

Then glance to stare,

Look at that face, those eyes, that hair,

Glowing in the moonlit air,

Like a shining solitaire.

Then be days zealous or austere,

Put away reticence, hesitation and fear,

You are beautiful the way you appear,

Let no body tell you otherwise dear.
