Homecoming
By Liam Murray
Don’t miss my city
Unless you recall it
In all its light,
It is a waste-scape
Scarred by sefalet,
Luxury residence suites,
Bloody mezbahas of lies.
She never wants her pain
Over – just hidden,
Like everything else
In her truth.
So there’s no talking it out,
Go along or be swept away.
We have to stay,
Or there will be no end
To her destruction.
